The UFC 207 Live Stream has set the stage for the final card of 2016, as UFC 207’s complete lineup is now set.In the main event, Ronda Rousey returns, challenging Amanda Nunes for the female bantamweight title on December 30 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The main card airs live on pay-per-view beginning at 10 p.m. ET.

Along with Nunes-Rousey, Dominick Cruz is set to defend his bantamweight belt vs. top contender Cody Garbrandt. The main card also features bantamweight contenders T.J. Dillashaw, a former champion, and John Lineker.

Rounding out the four-fight main card will be a meeting of ex-heavyweight titleholders in Fabricio Werdum and Cain Velasquez. The four-fight prelims that air live on FOX Sports 1 include former welterweight champion Johny Hendricks vs. Neil Magny, ex-Strikeforce titleholder Tarec Saffiedine vs. Dong Hyun Kim, Alex Garcia vs. Mike Pyle and Ray Borg vs. Louis Smolka.Three more bouts stream live on UFC Fight Pass including Tim Means vs. Alex Oliveira.Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) star Ronda Rousey has revealed that her brutal knockout loss to Holly Holm, when she surrendered her bantamweight title, last November was a blessing in disguise. The California-born fighter is returning to the octagon for the first time since her loss last year and despite rivals questioning her mental state after her knockout, the fighter believes the loss helped her evolve as a person.Rousey was ever present in the media ahead of her fight with Holm last November, she had built up a lot of hype about the fight and was confident about beating the Albuquerque-born fighter. She even posted a warning about the 'beating' she was about to receive the following day after the UFC 193 weigh in.

This time around, however, Rousey has stayed away from the limelight and chosen to focus on her training away from the public eye. She has given interviews very selectively, but in a wide ranging interview with ESPN she made it clear that 'revenge' and 'redemption' is high on her agenda when she steps into the cage on 30 December to take on reigning bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. That loss saved me from becoming what I hate. One of those people who live their lives to impress everyone else. Who put up a front for the world to admire. Who make sure every charitable act is posted and shared for their own image gain. Who posture and pose for people they care nothing about except for the opinion they have of them," Rousey told ESPN.

"I will never put my body at risk for money and views ever again. What makes me happy is winning and being the best in the world and that's it. F--- all the promotion and energy spent on anything that's not me winning. And anyone who tries to tell me I owe them energy on frivolous s--- during camp out of 'loyalty' or 'friendship' deserves no loyalty from me and is no friend of mine.

"This is not a time for f---ing favors. This is a time for redemption and revenge," the former bantamweight champion added. After 13 months of reflection, that was Rousey’s biggest takeaway from her shocking upset loss to Holly Holm last November.

UFC president Dana White had called on Rousey to move her fight and training schedule up two months after Robbie Lawler got hurt and could no longer fight in the main event in Australia.

“I was just trying to make too many people happy,But when I try and do favours and make everybody else happy, at the end of the day, they walk away happy and I’m the one who has to deal with the depression. All the pay-per-views in the world, all the money in the world, it means f — ing nothing to me because I lost.”

Reality? Excuse? Rationalisation? We will get closer to the truth on Dec. 30 when Rousey returns to the Octagon to fight Amanda Nunes and try to regain her bantamweight title.

“I will never put my body at risk for money and views ever again,” said Rousey, who recently announced the Nunes fight would be one of her last. “What makes me happy is winning and being the best in the world and that’s it. F — all the promotion and energy spent on anything that’s not me winning.

“And anyone who tries to tell me UFC 207 Live I owe them energy on frivolous s — during camp out of ‘loyalty’ or ‘friendship’ deserves no loyalty from me and is no friend of mine. This is not a time for f — ing favours. This is a time for redemption and revenge.”

Ronda Rousey is chasing redemption and revenge.

Rousey revealed in the interview she turned down White’s request to fight in UFC 205 last month — she was recovering from a knee injury — and headline UFC’s big Madison Square Garden debut. This time will be different, she vows, because her approach is different. She has limited the number of her media appearances as she trains in what is only described as a “small mountain community two hours out of Los Angeles.”Rousey bemoaned how she handled the Holm preparation, too worried about everything but the opponent in front of her. Holm pummeled Rousey for more than a round, until Rousey was finished with a devastating kick to the head.

“That loss saved me from becoming UFC 207 what I hate,” Rousey said. “One of those people who live their lives to impress everyone else. Who put up a front for the world to admire. Who make sure every charitable act is posted and shared for their own image gain. Who posture and pose for people they care nothing about except for the opinion they have of them.”
